VISA-FREE ENTRY FOR TOURISTS FROM 34 COUNTRIES

In connection with the Mongolian government’s decision to declare the years 2023-2025 as “Visit Mongolia Years,” the Cabinet has decided to temporarily waive the visa requirement for citizens of the following 34 countries who are traveling to Mongolia for tourism purposes for a period of up to 30 days. This includes 32 European countries, Australia and New Zealand. The decision will be in effect from January 4, 2023 to December 31, 2025.

Citizens traveling to Mongolia for purposes other than tourism (such as work, study, long-term stay, and other personal purposes) must obtain the appropriate visa in advance in order to enter Mongolia.
