
The Honorary Consul is actively involved in initiatives aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between Mongolia and Poland, particularly within his consular district. His efforts include establishing and developing contacts between entrepreneurs from both countries, which fosters the creation of new business opportunities and trade exchange. The Consul supports the organization of business meetings, trade missions, conferences, and fairs that enable entrepreneurs from Mongolia and Poland to establish direct relationships, exchange experiences, and share know-how. Striving to strengthen economic ties, the Consul also supports cooperation in innovation, investment, and technology transfer, which contributes to the increased competitiveness of both economies.

The Honorary Consul undertakes a series of activities aimed at promoting Mongolian cultural heritage, scientific achievements, and national identity. He supports Mongolian artists, journalists, scientists, academic lecturers, and students in establishing contacts with their Polish counterparts, especially within his consular district. Through these initiatives, he promotes intercultural cooperation, facilitates the exchange of experiences, and creates a space for joint projects, thus contributing to strengthening the ties between Mongolia and Poland in the fields of culture and science.

The Honorary Consul conducts information activities aimed at shaping a positive image of Mongolia in accordance with the government's policy. In close cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Mongolia in Poland, he provides local media operating within the consular district with reliable information about the country. He also distributes promotional materials, supporting the building of a positive international image of Mongolia. It should be emphasized that the Honorary Consul does not deal with matters related to issuing visas, passports, or issues concerning civil status, citizenship, or consular fees.
On November 18, 2024, an extremely important event for the region took place in the Marble Hall of the Silesian Provincial Office. The Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Katowice was officially opened, marking a milestone in the development of relations between Poland and Mongolia.
The consulate will play a key role in strengthening economic, cultural and diplomatic relations. Marcin Mistarz, a respected representative of the business community, whose extensive experience and commitment to the development of international cooperation are invaluable to the consulate’s goals, has been appointed as Honorary Consul.
This initiative is evidence of the dynamic development of relations between our countries and opens new perspectives for cooperation in many areas, extremely important for our regions.
